DEATH SQUAD
Death Squad: The Revived is a supernatural epic that chronicles the decisive confrontation between Earth's defenders and the dark forces of a hellish dimension called the Eternal Abyss. In the past, a group of idealistic and politically correct superheroes known as The Virtuosos not only protected Earth from direct threats, but also defended the rights of groups they considered oppressed, such as the sinister Kronasher sect. Believing that their values of justice and harmony could be extended to everyone, including those with dubious intentions, this blind faith led them down a path of ruin.
When the Kronashers provoked a cataclysm that opened interdimensional portals, the Unholy Power —a horde of monsters and demons led by the giant spider-legged super-demon Talmuz-Arak and his terrifying wife Vigra-Mün —invaded our reality, threatening the total destruction of planet Earth. Confused and confident that they could negotiate peace, the Righteous believed that dialogue with the charismatic Grand Master Zherak , leader of the Kronashers sect, could halt the devastation. But their faith proved fatal. Falling into a trap, the Righteous were imprisoned in the Eternal Abyss , leaving the world at the mercy of evil forces.
With the Earth on the brink of collapse, The Prophet emerged, an Englishman, a former history teacher who was miraculously cured of his paralysis by a mysterious force. Knowing that ordinary beings could not resist supernatural forces, he was given the power to summon the souls of noble but imperfect people who had recently died, forming the Death Squad — a group of Redivivos , resurrected heroes who, even in life, fought and sacrificed themselves for justice. Under the command of the ruthless Brazilian hero Flagelus , the Death Squad advanced against the darkness with courage and superhuman powers.
After an initial victory against Talmuz-Arak , the Death Squad rescued The Virtuosos from the Eternal Abyss . However, what returned were beings deeply corrupted by the absolute evil that inhabits that hellish dimension. Transformed into super-villains and possessed by a power they can no longer control, The Virtuosos , now arch-enemies of the Death Squad , have become the greatest threat to humanity — the very thing they once swore to protect.
